    Dog Dosing: A general recommendation is 0.25mg to 0.5mg of CBD per pound of body weight. However there are several factors that go into achieving the right dose. Finding the dose that works for your pet depends on size, ailment and the amount of CBD receptors your pet has. It is wise to start with a small dose and work your way up until desired effects are achieved. Depending on the severity of the symptom you may need to give more than once a day. You can administer either by putting drops of CBD oil on their food, rubbing the oil on their gums or giving it in treat form. ​
     
    Example dose:  20 pound dog X .25 = 5mg dose 
    Each full dropper from a 500mg bottle holds approximately 16mg of CBD. In this example about 1/3 dropper would be a 5mg dose. A 500mg bottle would last several months in this example. ​
